What’s Next? War On Money?

There is always an encouragement to promote war and keep it going, to make sure that we identify people who are ‘others’ whom we can legitimately make war upon.

That’s because war is hugely profitable. It creates so much money because it’s so easy to spend money very fast. There are huge fortunes to be made.

But, usually, the only people who profit from war are the ones who are prepared for it. Who placed the right bet on what’s coming and planned their investment strategy accordingly. Because a man who is forewarned and forearmed is a man in control.

In the larger scheme of things, outside of helping you plan on creating wealth, I find myself caught in a war over the control of money; recommending diversifying out of the dollar and fiat systems for two reasons. One is that they are going down. The other is that they are immoral.

The war against sound money continued this past week with the US central bank pretending to be doing sound things on interest rates and CBDC’s, the Russian central bank threatening to bank crypto (Putin rejected that), and the Treasury and Biden threatening to regulate crypto because it is a security threat.

Let me clarify what this war is about. It is about control. Specifically, it is about control over money.

This war is being fought by the market system, which created money to be sound (honest) and solve various problems in society, and the State who treats it like a “royal prerogative” and a tool helping it siphon wealth.

Entrepreneurs created crypto as a new offensive, a century after the State buried the gold standard, but in terms of the thousands of years of history where it has controlled money, this fiat experiment is a flash in the pan. The only reason government fiat hasn’t already imploded is because of its historic tie to gold.

Otherwise, historically speaking, it has been the fastest collapsing money humans have used.

It took 200 years for Rome to debase its currency to the point we have ours in the past 50.

I believe it is the end of the road for the dollar system that is at the center of that drama.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
